In contrast, staying in a tent (even a heated one) during the autumn–winter season can be a serious challenge for many people.

Although there is no shortage of people who love sleeping in tents, that form of accommodation has its downsides — the lack of running water, electricity, or heating can be an insurmountable obstacle for many. What kind of plot for a glamping site?
The first thing we should start with is finding a suitable plot of land. The qualities and location of the plot are important investment factors that will directly influence whether your calendar fills up with bookings. If you’re targeting tourists, you should consider a plot located in an attractive area. You should focus on parcels situated in popular tourist regions such as the seaside, the Masurian Lake District, or the mountains. It’s not necessary to choose a plot near famous resorts right away. Crowds of tourists and constant noise can be discouraging — glamping enthusiasts are usually looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Instead, you can look for land in a small, less popular town or on its outskirts, but close to a forest, river, lake, reservoir, or near tourist trails. There’s nothing stopping you from setting up your glamping site in a completely remote area, adopting the concept of “off-the-grid” accommodation, and at the same time developing attractive infrastructure around the site yourself. Regardless of the chosen concept, before purchasing the plot, you must check the land development conditions for the area. When selecting a plot, it is essential to verify whether it has access to utilities and whether the access road to the property is in good condition. Is a permit required for glamping?
Ready-made cottages from Letniskowo.pl do not require a building permit. Construction work must be reported to the appropriate office along with a complete set of documents, and you must wait 21 days. It is important to remember that one cottage is allowed per 500 m² of land. The building must be single-story and have a building area of up to 70 m². If the rental of cottages is seasonal, it is not necessary to register a business. Income from such rentals can be taxed with a flat-rate income tax of 8.5% if it does not exceed 100,000 PLN. In other cases, the excess amount is subject to a 12.5% flat-rate tax on recorded income. If you plan to rent out the cottages year-round, you will be required to register a business. If you want to operate on a larger scale, the rental of holiday cottages will fall under the category of providing hotel services. In this case, you will be obliged to register your cottages in the register of facilities providing hotel services, maintained by the mayor (village head, town or city mayor) of the area where the property is located, and to comply with sanitary, fire safety, and equipment requirements.
How much does a glamping cottage cost?
The cost of mobile homes is not high, so organizing a glamping site based on ready-made year-round cottages will be cheaper than investing in traditional wooden or brick constructions. The price will depend on the number of cottages selected, their size, and the finishing standard. By choosing ready-made houses on wheels, you save time and don’t have to spend every moment at the construction site.
